In 2012, after many years of working for large multinational companies and smaller independents Ian Mallon, our founder, embarked on a journey to establish our freight forwarding company. The primary goal was to provide professional logistics solutions with a strong emphasis on a straightforward, people-oriented approach to delivery.
Our company offers a comprehensive range of transport options from various locations worldwide. We specialise in creating customised logistics solutions that include all necessary customs formalities. Our client base encompasses a diverse range, ranging from local small and medium-sized enterprises to international organisations worth billions of dollars. Despite our size, our unwavering dedication to customer service allows us to consistently outperform expectations. Our mission statement emphasises effective employee engagement and fosters a positive work environment, which in turn enhances overall well-being. We place great importance on customer feedback and recently underwent a company restructure in 2022 to position ourselves for ambitious growth.
As members of two highly respected Freight Networks, our reach extends to nearly every major city worldwide through our network of shipping agent offices, The Co-operative Logistics Network, boasting over 300 members in 132 countries, ensures our global presence.
Our independence grants us the agility to respond swiftly to customer needs, and our network of partners across the world share our commitment to exceptional customer service. These partners actively seek opportunities to collaborate with us, establishing a mutually beneficial working relationship.
In addition to our daily operations, we actively participate in trade events organised by the Department for Business and Trade to stay updated on industry developments. Ian has also contributed to the industry through hosting group talks and delivering guest lectures at Manchester Metropolitan University. Our insights on freight forwarding have been published in various trade press and chamber magazines, further solidifying our reputation as industry experts.
From the beginning, we have been strong supporters of the Young Forwarder Network, an initiative by the British International Freight Association (BIFA). This program offers our team members a platform to enhance their knowledge, network with freight industry professionals through informal gatherings, and participate in visits to significant industry sites, including ports and airports.
